We need a tax policy that supports what we hold dear in Kansas, while not placing the heavy financial burden on hardworking individuals. In 2015, Terry Bruce and the Kansas Senate passed the largest tax increase in our state's history. This has hit the pocketbook of Kansans in a serious way.
As your Senator, I will work hard to create stability in our budget that won't require questionable financial maneuvers and short-term fixes. We need long-lasting solutions.
